NYC based The Brooklyn Circus worked with classic Italian sportswear label Fila to produce a capsule collection in celebration of the 1st Anniversary of their San Francisco shop. The drop consists of two items: a Fila “Flyboy” Jacket, coming in a laquered black with magenta highlights; and a black Duffle Bag with heavy leather accents, including a prominent Brooklyn Circus “B.” The Brooklyn Circus x Fila collection will be released this Saturday, July 4th at The Brooklyn Circus San Francisco.
With boat shoes being all the rage these days, we take a detailed look at the upcoming Sperry Topsider Spring/Summer 2010 Collection at Bread & Butter Berlin. They will be introducing lots of very solid styles, with the mid top boots being among our favorite. The classic low boat shoe comes in some nice colorways and material options. Also they will be celebrating their 75th anniversary next year and for the occasion a bunch of special vintage looking footwear will be released.
Having seen some of the most popular artists, heavily involved in the streetwear scene, exhibit at the Emmanuel Perrotin, makes you wonder what the famed collector might have in-store. Aside from the current showcase, at the gallery’s Paris location, is a collaboration sculpture, created between Kanye West and legendary super-flat artist Takashi Murakami. The piece follows the re-occuring Kanye bear theme, created in a gold sculpture. Stay tuned for further information regarding the sculpture.
Reebok unveils a new rendition of their popular Pump Omni Lite silhouette for the 2010 Spring/Summer season. Following the look of their recent Jean Michel-Basquiat sneakers, this latest preview keeps in tune with much of the same designs qualities, although executed much more cleanly. The kicks boasts a white/black colorway adorned with the classic a Basquiat look and mood. Look for these to drop sometime early next year.
