PARIS – LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton on Friday said it acquired France’s Montaudon champagne house, regarded for exclusive vintages. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Montaudon, which employs 29 people, joins LVMH’s already formidable stable of champagne houses, which included Dom Pérignon, Moet et Chandon, Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, Krug, Ruinart and Mercier. “The acquisition of Montaudon enables us to complete our portfolio,” said Christophe Navarre, chairman of Moet Hennessy, LVMH’s wines and spirits division. “This corresponds with Moet Hennessy’s strategy to strengthen its worldwide leadership in the luxury wines and spirits sector.” LVMH has continued to solidify…

A graduate of the esteemed Central Saint Martins school of fashion and design, British designer Vinti Andrews has become well-known for her reconstructionist techniques. On a similar tip to another popular jacket surgeon Dr. Romanelli, she looks to create new shapes and patterns with the iconic Nike Windrunner the subject of her customizations. The top hood half is marked by some bold 3M materials. Also seen amongst the Windrunners is a totebag with the oddly incorporated raccoon tail. Available at KNIQ in Hong Kong.
