
Came across this piece in the Adidas Originals store this past weekend. It’s a solid piece, BUUUT why in the hell did they not make this thing black on black. If anyone is adidas land is reading my site. Please let me get a crack at this silhouette…PLEASE!!!

Next to a technical tracksuit, hoodies and pants, the brand once again offers a tech outer shell jacket this season. A star is born.
Behold, Jeremy Scott would like everyone to raise their right hand for the star spangled track top. For Spring/Summer 2010, the ever irreverent returns to his collaboration with adidas Originals by Originals with everything bold, loud and happy– a collection where sneakers stay fly with wings and loafers can run with three tongues. Amongst the collection is a remake of adidas’ iconic Firebird track top made street relevant by hip hop artists such as Run DMC back in the day. The electric blue track jacket is marked liberally with embroidered white stars and paired with the signature three-stripes for a “Stars and Stripes” combo. Athletic and patriotic, the track jacket is available now online at Good Will Out. Grab them before they run out, and banish your July 4th wardrobe worries early.

adidas Originals once again roped in French graffiti artist Fafi, who has been a partner and friend of the Originals family for years, to collaborate on a Fall / Winter 2009 collection. Fafi refreshes her involvement with the brand by creating a cool female streetwear line. From apparell to footwear, Fafi creates unexpected street looks for girls while using iconic adidas products as canvases for her well-known street art and graphics. All I can think about is the Fat Boys in Disorderlies.
Among the various historical models of remake that Adidas has brought to light with the last collection we also know the mythical Conductor High in their make-up inspired uniformity of the original New York Knicks. The shoe, which in the’80s became a ‘model-the signature of Patrick Ewing, comes now with forms, materials and colors really faithful to the original. A piece from the collection. With a slew of Ransom by adidas Originals previews emerging over the last month or so, an un-seen model yet to surface features the simple high-top design known as the Valley. The little details seen include a shiny leather upper with leather liner. A total of four models are on deck but still no news regarding a release.
