There was a time where a certain type of person wore a vest. You were either cool, tuff, fly or all of the above. Last night at Philipe I saw this marshmallow character rocking a vest. SMFH… Chumps please don’t ruin the down vest. I beg you.

Comme des Garcons Junya Watanabe MAN worked with The North Face on a couple of pieces for Fall/Winter 2009. Complementing their hunting and outdoor inspired offering of the season, they produced in collaboration with The North Face a vest in several colorways, as well as two coats. The North Face logos are embroidered tonal and nice details include cordoroy and leather patches through out the collection. The pieces are now available from Reinforce.

We take a closer look at some new items from the Comme des Garcons SHIRT Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. The brand presents some new coats, shirts, as well as some new knitwear. Some interesting new shirts are coming from the Comme des Garcons SHIRT Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. Once again the Japanese brand goes a different and this time bold direction, using the same large scale prints and photos that we saw a couple of days ago on their new t-shirts, this time on long-sleeve shirts. Classic patterns are mixed with bold and cut-up color prints. The new shirts are now available at colette.

This is a dope wallet. I’m still in search of the snakeskin CDG wallet.
Two new not often seen wallet styles out of the COMME des GARCONS camp are featured here. The familiar zip format over coin purse and tri-zip styles include a well aged and distressed leather. The chocolaty brown takes with it a nice texturized feel with gold accents via the zippers. Available now at Opening Ceremony.
