Like wine, they get better with time.

Newly released from Levi’s Japan is a pair of reproduced 501’s based off a 1947 model. A special wash along with customized stitching and patches makes this an unique pair of Levi’s 501XX denim. Retailing at 49,350 YEN, these are now available at Levi’s E-Shop.

The Levi’s x Original Fake 3rd Anniversary denim collection has been released. Three models are part of the collection. They present a pair of raw denim cargo pants with a red/white Chompers teeth embroidery on the back-pockets. Furthermore there are two washed denim styles, one coming with a green/white, the other one with a blue/white Chompers teeth embroidery on the back-pockets. Nice Chompers teeth detail also comes on the selvedge. All three models are now available from e-Levi.

Earlier we presented to you the Original Fake x Bape 3rd Anniversary T-Shirts and the 3rd Anniversary 4 Feet Dissected Companion. Here now a look at another product for the occasion – 5 Pocket denim and Cargo Pants in collaboration with Levi’s. The denim comes in two washes and with Kaws teeth design on the back pockets. The cargo pants come raw, also featuring the Kaws teeth design.

I’m in a top gun mood…

Having been the subject of various collaborative efforts which follow a similar style to what is seen here, Levi’s Vintage Clothing takes matter into their own hands with the creation of “The Journey” and “The Ragged Point” 501XX 1966. The denim as the name suggests for “The Journey”, is a well-worn pair of denim with a number of rips, stains and tears alongside custom patches. “The Ragged Point” is on a similar concept with strong wear on the lap in addition to paint splatter. These are not the most organic and authentic offerings from LVC with most people accustomed to their raw offerings, but something fans of well-worn and distressed denim will appreciate.
