The latest collection from Maison Martin Margiela has just begun to hit retailers. The collection is restrained and features an array of neutral colors over simple cuts. Adding more of a masculine flair to their previously seen cut-out design, Maison Martin Margiela work up a new colorway in their ankle sneakers. The shoes feature a combined premium leather and patent leather upper amongst a black/gum colorway. Along with a good selection of the brands 2009 Fall/Winter Collection, the kicks are now available at colette.
Everyone knows CDG wallets are great but they’re reaching ubiquity within fashionable circles. A nice alternative that’s within the realm of affordability (assuming you can afford a Comme wallet) is this Martin Margiela piece. There’s no zippery involved but it’s still far better bound than usual wallets due to the rope enclosure. Although it’s listed as light grey on Matches, it looks more of a cream colour to us. Martin Margiela’s ‘V-Man’ jacket killed it last season and if there’s one piece that looks like having the same effect for SS09, it’s this tee.
