Well the short answer is it depends on how often you and your family use the kitchen for cooking. If you go out to eat most days or cook TV dinners on a regular basis, you may actually get by with only having to clean the bulk of your counter, stove and microwave once or twice a week.

On the other hand if you and your family love to cook , you will need to do a more detailed cleaning job in the kitchen on a daily basis. The process is much simpler if you clean all the pots and pans immediately after you use them. Arguably the number one appliance in your kitchen is the refrigerator, which should be cleaned thoroughly once per month. Another common mistake made when cleaning the refrigerator is too only use only a sponge and some water, but it is important to note that you must dry the water too, otherwise the left over water mixed with the low temperature of the refrigerator may cause mold.

Many kitchens have tiled walls and backsplashes, and it is important that those tiles are cleaned as often as the bathroom tiles are cleaned (about once per week). Make sure you use a softer cleaning chemical in the kitchen compared to the one you may use in the bathroom. Keeping up with the cleaning in the kitchen can be a daunting task, especially if you are responsibly for cleaning the rest of the house as well but remember take your time try to have fun and do the best job you can.
